How we calculate Year 1 cost
Most GLP-1 providers advertise introductory pricing at starting doses. As you titrate up to therapeutic doses over 4–5 months, the price increases — often substantially. Our "Year 1" figure applies each month's price based on the FDA-label titration schedule, plus any membership, consult, or per-visit fees. "Avg/mo" is Year 1 total divided by 12. All prices sourced from provider websites and manufacturer programs.
Max-dose assumption
Year-1 costs assume you titrate to the maximum approved maintenance dose for each medication: Wegovy injection 2.4mg, Wegovy pill 25mg, Zepbound 15mg, Foundayo 17.2mg. Most patients reach these doses over the first 4–6 months. If you plateau at a lower dose, your actual cost will be lower than shown.
